Today, we mourn the loss of one of baseball’s greatest icons - MLBbro Willie Mays.
The “Say Hey Kid” brought unparalleled talent, joy and passion to the game. His legacy will live on forever in the hearts of fans and the history of baseball.
Rest in peace, Willie. Your contributions to the sport and the lives you touched will never be forgotten. ⚾️💔
@MLBbrodotcom@SFGiants 💔Been bummed since Tues. Had the pleasure of mtg the legend on 2 occasions. I'll never forget being in the 1st row when he gave his impromptu tribute to @BarryBonds on 8/11/18 & implored @baseballhall to "vote this guy in!" He'll be forever missed here in SF. #sfgiants#FTTB #24
