Given that it's October, do you have a preferred mysterious or eerie story? Here are three that I like:
1. Monkey-Man Of Dehli In May 2001, there were reports in New Delhi, India, about a creature resembling a monkey that was reportedly attacking people during the nighttime.
2. You Are Being Impersonated by the Other Voice A man recorded unsettling phone calls he received from a robotic voice that repeatedly delivered cryptic messages.

The Kola Superdeep Borehole, which reaches a depth of 12,262 meters, equivalent to 42,230 feet or approximately 7.62 miles, is concealed beneath this unassuming cap.
It is believed that Yang Xinhai was the deadliest serial killer in contemporary Chinese history. From 1999 to 2003, he was criminally responsible for over 67 murders and 23 rapes. After going through a difficult breakup, Xinhai began breaking into his victims' homes, earning the nickname "Monster Killer" from the Chinese media.
Xinhai forced the woman's husband and their six-year-old daughter to witness one particularly graphic killing in which she raped the victim. He then murdered them. On February 14, 2004, Xinhai was taken into custody and put to death by firing squad.
Serial killer Daniel Camargo Barbosa was from Colombia. In Colombia and Ecuador between the 1970s and 1980s, he killed and sexually assaulted over 150 females. Camargo, who lost his mother when he was quite young, was brought up by his abusive stepmother. In front of his pals, she would frequently beat him and dress him in girl's clothing.
When Camargo learned that the woman he married wasn't a virgin, he started raping young virgin girls. Mostly defenseless, underprivileged young ladies yearning for a better future were the targets of his torture and murder. The nephew of one of Barbosa's numerous victims killed him by stabbing him to death in prison in 1994.
Without a question, Andrei Chikatilo is Russia's most prolific serial killer. Chikatilo raped, killed, and mutilated at least 52 women and children between 1978 and 1990, spreading death and terror all around him.
Chikatilo utilized his position as a teacher of Russian language and literature to seize his prey. His student was his first casualty. 20 years passed during Chikatilo's spree before he was ultimately apprehended. In 1994, he was executed.
