Nice to see some better #Subtitles - choice of #FontSize and esp the subtitles having their own background as if not, when the colour of the screen changes throughout the #programme/#film, it can mean the difference between being able to see the subtitles and not. #SightLoss
It would be good idea if people with #SightLoss who don't normally need #AD knew if there are a lot of #Subtitles in a film so they could wait until they can watch it at home - closer screen. #MrsHarrisGoesToParis#Unexpected
Just attended a really informative webinar by @MacularSociety, including information on text-to-speech apps which is something that people ask about in my #voluntary work.
Very interesting article about how to improve day-to-day tasks (including '#reading) for people with #LowVision: https://t.co/DTo0q3I9h5. I personally saw someone's ability to read improved by #lighting alone (no #magnifiers) at a #LowVisionClinic.
Great to hear a discussion on @TheJeremyVine about #DryEye syndrome, which effects many people from those with a condition to being caused by overuse of technology.
Cried possibly the most while writing this one. I heard from the @DeafblindUK community about the loneliness so many have experienced this year

A lot people who have lost some #sight miss being able to read. Please could all #BookPublishers put #FontFace and #FontFace on publishing info page + all online sellers make this info available on their websites so that people can know if they'll be able to read book b4 buying.
Difficult to not be able to get support from staff at #supermarkets or not to pick up items unless you're going to buy them if you need them close to see exactly what they are. #JeremyVine
