BREAKING: In an amazing moment, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy just met with all of Europe's leaders. Look at the reception he receives. Donald Trump would never.
FBI employees fired for their roles in the investigation of President Donald Trump’s retention of classified documents at his Florida estate sued on Thursday to get their jobs back, calling their terminations unlawful acts of “political retribution.”
Eli Crane was flying high with the elites while hardworking Arizonans are left struggling. Arizona can’t afford more of Crane’s party politics. It’s time to elect a Warrior who will fight for us, not the elites.
More than 100 elected officials have joined me in calling on parking lot and garage owners across New York City: Don’t give ICE a place to operate. Don’t rent to them. Tell them they’re not welcome.
Last week, ICE agents shot Oscar Belgal in the neck in Marble Hill while his 5-year-old son sat in the car. They had been staging nearby in a private parking lot.
Our city laws keep ICE off public property. Now, we’re calling on private property owners to do the same. One garage on Morton Street already removed ICE vehicles after neighbors spoke out. Every owner has that power.
In 2024, I did what 23 governors and 55 legislatures before me wouldn’t do and repealed Arizona’s draconian 1864 abortion ban. Over these past four years, I haven’t stopped fighting to protect Arizonans’ right to build their families and their futures.
I will never back down from defending reproductive freedom.
Early voting has already started in Arizona! Whether you’re voting by mail or in person, don’t wait to get it done. This election is too important to leave to the last minute. Make your plan to vote right now at https://t.co/sttPWEW1dJ.
Trump's out-of-control DHS agents aren't going after the "worst of the worst" like they claim—they're arresting and detaining CITIZENS. More than 500 of them!
Republicans in Congress are doing nothing to hold Trump accountable for these constitutional violations—VOTE!
.@AngieNixon has a veterans agenda, and it’s serious: a fully staffed VA, shorter waits, mental health care when veterans need it, and a roof over every veteran's head.
On November 3, let’s elect Angie, take back the Senate, and protect our vets.
No, it’s not illegal for a journalist to record a politician at a press availability when the politician invited the press! Classic Andy Harris. We served together in the Maryland State Senate and Congress for two decades — he's an authoritarian through and through, and can be counted on by tyrants all over the world — Trump, Putin, Orban, J6 insurrectionists. How dare he lecture his constituents about the First Amendment when he wanted to cut off all funds to the University of Maryland because he didn’t approve of a movie a student group showed on campus. If you want to support freedom and progress in Maryland and across America, please help out Dan Schwartz, @Schwartz4_MD1st in these final 20 days!
BREAKING: A federal judge has just BLOCKED trump's attempts to ban Politico, CNN, and MS NOW from covering the White House.
The block is PERMANENT, until the case is resolved.
HUGE WIN for free press.💪🏽
Another big L for trump. 😂
We are 20 days away from the November 3 General Election. If you got your ballot in the mail, fill it out and return it right away.

An Open Letter to Arizona Voters Who Supported President Trump
To the Arizonans who voted for President Trump,
I grew up in rural Arizona, in Prescott, on a dirt road behind the world’s oldest rodeo. My parents taught my siblings and I to appreciate hard work and the beauty of this state. Today, I’m the first Mom to ever serve as Arizona’s Attorney General, after proudly serving two terms as a Republican on the Corporation Commission, where we stood up for consumers when powerful utilities went too far.
When I ran for Attorney General, I ran to represent all Arizonans. To be the Lawyer for the People. Not powerful corporations, not special interests, and not any political party. My job is to fight for the people of this state, whether you’re a Republican, Democrat, or Independent, whether you live in the Valley or in rural Arizona. And those aren’t just words – they are embodied by my record, our work inside the Attorney General’s Office.
First, let’s talk about fentanyl:
Arizonans want to keep dangerous drugs off our streets and protect our families. Alongside local police, sheriffs, and our federal law enforcement partners, my office has seized more than 27 million fentanyl pills, more than any Attorney General in Arizona history. We also fought to change the law to give law enforcement the tools to shoot down Mexican drug cartel drones transporting fentanyl, meth, and carfentanil across the border. Arizona law enforcement and federal agencies working here seize a massive share of the fentanyl recovered across the country, often accounting for more than half of all national seizures. My office works hand in glove to make those seizures and prosecute 80 percent of the major cases and the cartels. That’s what it means to focus on the worst of the worst: go after the drug cartels, smugglers, and human traffickers who threaten our communities every day.
Second, let’s talk about the cost of living in Arizona:
You can feel it everywhere you go in this state. People are working harder than ever, but too many families still feel like they're falling behind: Groceries cost more, housing costs more, health care costs more, and utility bills keep going up. That’s why I fought to stop the Kroger-Albertsons merger that would have combined Frys and Safeway. Arizona families deserve competition and choices at the grocery store, not fewer companies with more power to increase prices. It’s why my office sued RealPage and corporate landlords over allegations they colluded to drive up rents in 76% of the apartment units in Phoenix and more than 50% of apartments in Tucson. And it’s why I intervened to challenge proposed electricity rate increases from APS and TEP. When companies get so big they think the rules no longer apply to them, somebody has to stand up to them. That’s what I’ve done as Attorney General.
Third, let’s talk about Arizona’s water supplies:
Arizonans viscerally understand that we can’t keep doing dumb things with our water supply. It’s a threat to our families, our way of life, and our future. That’s why I sued the Saudi-owned megafarm pumping Arizona groundwater to grow alfalfa for export overseas to feed livestock in the Persian Gulf. While Arizona communities worry about dwindling groundwater, this foreign-owned corporation was taking advantage of our resources to serve its own interests. And it’s why I brought Riverview Dairy to the table in Cochise County to put up $11 million to redrill the wells of their neighbors and fallow thousands of acres of land in an effort to restore the aquifer there. Arizona’s water supply must be protected. It belongs to the people of this state, and I will keep fighting to defend it.
Those are the fights I’ll keep taking on if I’m reelected. I won’t stop because someone has more money, more power, or a different political affiliation. I know you may not agree with me on everything, and we didn’t vote the same way last election. But I’m asking you to trust that I’ll fight for you – because you’re an Arizonan.
This next term, I’ll fight to protect our water from foreign companies pumping it dry, will fight to ensure big data centers aren’t driving up your electric bills, will protect your privacy when companies like Flock invade it, and will investigate predatory surveillance pricing. Those aren’t partisan issues, they are our issues, our fights.
I also plan to continue to be the most transparent AG in history by getting out and talking to Arizonans. I’ve done more town halls in the past four years – 60 plus of them – than any other AG. Those town halls – from Benson to Chino Valley, from Wendon to St. Johns, from Pearce to Lake Havasu, from Yuma to Sierra Vista – have been the best part of my job, and they have helped us to investigate and tackle some of our toughest issues.
As your Attorney General I will always stand shoulder to shoulder with you – to protect our communities and ensure a future for our children in this state we all love.
Sincerely,
Kris Mayes, Arizona Attorney General
James Talarico's closing statement:
You may have noticed that I haven't talked about my opponent at all tonight, because I don't want people to vote just against Ken Paxton. I want them to vote for me. I want them to know my values and my vision.
But we are running against the most corrupt politician in Texas. Since taking office, Paxton has increased his net worth by $27 million. He now owns 15 homes. We have an opportunity to defeat him and this entire corrupt system.
🇮🇹🇺🇦 WOW! WHAT A SPEECH! WHAT POWERFUL WORDS FROM ITALIAN PRIME MINISTER GIORGIA MELONI!
Here is the full five-minute excerpt of her speech devoted to Ukraine and Donald Trump.
“Russia has launched a new autumn campaign against Ukraine.
Unable to advance on the battlefield, Moscow has increasingly turned its attacks against civilians: power plants, residential buildings, hospitals, and even buses carrying people to work, as in the horrific massacre in Kramatorsk.
This is a strategy through which Russia seeks to subjugate Ukraine with terror, cold, and darkness, simply because it has failed to conquer it on the battlefield.
The facts contradict Kremlin propaganda and those who spread it here.
Since the beginning of the year, Russia has captured very little territory, and in September it lost much of what it had previously seized.
This halt did not happen by chance. It was achieved through Ukraine’s courage and Western support, including that of Italy.
This resistance is the only effective instrument for bringing Russia to the negotiating table.
I respect and understand the passionate debate on this issue, including within this chamber, because nobody here wants war.
We all want peace.
The difference lies in how we intend to achieve it.
As I see it, supporting Ukraine is not an alternative to peace. It is what makes peace possible.
Because if an aggressor expects its opponent to surrender, why would it negotiate?
Surrender is not peace. It is conquest.
If Ukraine stopped defending itself tomorrow, as many suggest, we would not have peace.
We would be discussing the occupation of a European nation and the return of Soviet imperialism.
Personally, I do not miss those times. I do not miss Russian tanks crushing uprisings in Prague and Budapest.
I do not miss the Berlin Wall.
And nobody will ever convince me that the surrender of those defending their freedom can be called ‘peace.’
The peace we want, and the peace we are working toward, even at the cost of concessions, is a just peace, because only a just peace can endure.
Only a just peace can protect Europe and our interests.
That is why our government's position remains unchanged: support for Ukraine, with particular attention to civilians, pressure on Moscow, and Euro-Atlantic unity remain the pillars of our actions.
In this context, we must address Donald Trump's diesel agreement with Russia.
This is a decision I consider extremely risky.
Of course, we all recognize the need to contain fuel prices, which place a heavy burden on families, including Italian families.
But we must understand that rising prices are primarily linked to the war in Iran, not Ukraine.
Legitimizing Moscow, whose bombs continue to fall on Ukrainian cities, providing new revenues to finance the war, and weakening sanctions are all factors we cannot ignore.
And they contradict everything Western nations, including the United States, have done to force Putin to the negotiating table.
An energy ceasefire is a different matter, one that Italy supports, and we are grateful to President Zelenskyy for Ukraine's immediate willingness to agree to it.
Now we expect Russia to stop attacking Ukraine's energy infrastructure.
Finally, at such a difficult moment, when so many variables are beyond our control, there is at least one thing that depends on us:
We must ensure that Europe does not simply stand by and watch, because the terms of peace will affect our continent and our security.”
— Giorgia Meloni, Prime Minister of Italy
A key component of Ukraine’s communications network was partially disabled, perhaps by its ally, the United States.
The Starshield satellite network, funded by the Pentagon and operated by Elon Musk's SpaceX, was not operating at full capacity, hampering communications within the Ukrainian military.
@ElizLanders reports.
The president’s tariffs and Iran war are costing thousands of dollars per household. All this is on the ballot right now. We have the power to vote out his enablers and change what it’s like to live in America. Use it!
.@NYCMayor Zohran Mamdani (D) on fatal ICE shooting of Oscar Belgal: "I have directed a full review of a 24-hour period that starts with the horrific ICE shooting...people are in a real sense of fear of what ICE is doing across the city."
Pete Hegseth is blocking promotions and firing generals, especially women and people of color, and it’s costing us some of our most experienced and qualified servicemembers. That makes our country less safe.
This answer was so fucking good:
Talarico: “My decision to stay home for a week sent my opponent and his conspiracy theorists spiraling.
I opened up social media and learned I had apparently dropped out of the race, had flown to a mental hospital in Ohio, that I had DIED.
False claims got millions of views online - and this is an example of what I call the ‘rage economy.’ Billionaires who own these platforms get rich, we all get angry, and nobody’s life gets any better.
Conspiracy theories don’t put food on the table, put gas in the tank, or improve our communities.
I’m going to stay focused on the very real problems facing Texans.”
