Visited Nalbari Medical College & Hospital today to review healthcare services, infrastructure, and patient care across key departments. Later, we held a detailed review meeting on the performance of the Medical College and the District Health Department, focusing on:

* Maternal & infant health indicators
* OPD services and vacant positions
* RBSK, RKSK, NP-NCD and other flagship programmes
* Strengthening coordination between the Medical College and the District Health Department

I also interacted with senior doctors and instructed that monthly coordination meetings be institutionalised to ensure faster decision-making & better healthcare delivery.

The meeting was attended by my Cabinet colleague Shri @jayanta_malla, Barkhetry MLA Shri Narayan Deka, Commissioner & Secretary Dr. P. Ashok Babu, Director of Medical Education Dr. Manoj Kumar Choudhury, and Nalbari DC Shri Nibedan Das Patowary.

The provision for trial in absentia under the three new laws has empowered the justice system to initiate proceedings against absconding criminals. Stringent application of the PMLA led to the confiscation of assets worth ₹17,874 crore and restitution of ₹18,762 crore.

And new frameworks like the BHARATPOL have ensured a seamless coordination grid across the world, effectively turning every corner of the world into a hunting ground for fugitives.

Visited the Tamulpur Medical College & Hospital, currently in the final phase of construction, at Kachubari along with Hon'ble Health Minister Shri @TheAshokSinghal dangoriya and held a review meeting with officials of the concerned departments to assess the progress of the project.

The institution marks another significant step towards Hon'ble CM Dr. @himantabiswa dangoriya's vision of establishing one medical college in every district of Assam.

Also took part in a plantation program within the campus.
