I am literally begging that if you see someone in a mask in a small space with you, instead of saying “do you want me to mask?” Just say “oh let me put a mask on!”

Devoured Babel by R. F. Kuang over the weekend, so obviously the only option is to go back to the beginning and read it again, slowly, savouring every rumination on translation and imperialism, and every etymological explanation. I can't reccommend this book enough! 😍
