Not everything in football training has to be football-specific. Sometimes players simply need the freedom to explore different movements, be creative and have fun. Those experiences can build coordination, confidence and athleticism in ways that traditional drills cannot.

This is a positional rondo created using THE TACTICS APP (https://t.co/c7Ith9D8uR). This advanced positional rondo is set across two vertically aligned zones, with 2 defenders in each zone. The team in possession is shaped in a 4-2-3-1 formation, minus the striker.
A mannequin is placed between the two center backs to discourage square passes across the back line, which are often pressing triggers in real-game scenarios. Instead, players must find angles and disguise to play forward or diagonally.
From the deeper midfield line (the “2” in 4-2-3-1), one player is allowed to enter the active grid as a pivot, creating overloads and supporting circulation. The focus is on clean positioning, timing, and purposeful possession.
⚡ Stop doing skills while staring at the ball.
Lee's cue is clear: read the defender, spot when they fall off balance, then explode through the gate.
