Due to low numbers in the Black Country Fun Run in the last 2 events organised by Halesowen & Rowley Regis Rotary it has been decided to have a gap year and we hope to reinstate the event in 2024. The Fun Run is for raising charity money so we do need many more participants.

We do hope that a break is beneficial and enthusiasm returns to make it all worthwhile.

This is despite the attraction of the Queens Baton in Halesowen. As you would expect a lot of hard work goes into organising such events but it appears there is reduced appetite for such an event. Entry fees are competitively priced but the financial crisis is also a factor.
