Radical conversations, Mindful collaborations & (W)holistic visioning, Centering Black Communities. Tweets signed by team member posting #BlackCreativeHealing
Everything is connected. Each conversation is a collaboration in progress. Every moment that the most marginalized among us is centered, we ALL get a little more free. THIS is the work of #BlackCreativeHealing
Welcome new followers! Excited to see this account grow 💜 #BlackCreativeHealing is facilitated by music therapists Natasha Thomas and Adenike Webb, tho Natasha is the most regular Tweeter between the 2 of us 😊
How to describe this account & our work? Well...
doing more is not always the solution. sometimes it’s just about pouring into the quality of a few things you’re working on and making adjustments from there.
@so_treu@tortiiIIas I (Natasha) was such a super fan of Rockapella as a child that I was part of a group that got them to perform at my school 😆 The bass was the sweetest man on the planet lol
At @LiberatED_SEL, we will continue cultivating a community where we believe in the genius & gifts of all people, particularly Black, Indigenous, & other people of color-- a world where our stories, as BIPOC, are not pitted against each other & serve to perpetuate anti-Blackness.
The work continues, even as our visibility here continues to shift. Continuing to build deeper & more sustainable community relationships is everything. Those relationships are bigger than any one space. We will continue to tend them with care, as best we can 💜
Real talk: there’s not much motivating us on Twitter these days. Folks that we’re in regular community with we’re able to engage with more deeply in other spaces.
We’ll keep RT’ing content that moves us, but you may notice a decrease in original content here. That said…
Instagram is where you can find the most regular/original content from us: https://t.co/1YI1JzXVJj
