@Kurrco Drake does and says whatever he wants and it gets him in trouble a lot, but I respect the fact that it’s at least authentic. Kendrick only speaks around award season and always says some vanilla PR clean response. Kendrick is rarely criticized because he rarely speaks.
@theneedledrop As a music critic, you are so loudly biased lol it’s like you don’t respect your own profession.
You even said Drake fans were acting cringe with the ice, when this is just a public installation that will attract kids wanting a viral moment.
Folks is cool with Tyler getting his singing off on albums but have an issue with Cole singing when he easily has a better voice. Make it make sense. The Fall-Off is Cole’s the best display of his rapping and melodies.
@MrBusby4o8 Grammys and the Pope is white validation. That’s what you are celebrating. Hip-hop is leveling up because these historically white spaces are embracing it. “The culture”.
@Kurrco Imagine celebrating low NBA viewership so “real basketball” can thrive. You “watch the party” ppl mad dumb. Crabs in a bucket mentality for real.
@trevaced@HotNewHipHop Which means he was being questioned going into the Kendrick beef right? Making this situation completely different from Jay and Nas right? Ppl start using periods and think they’re making points.
@MrBusby4o8 Don’t be dense. It was “cool” on the internet to hate on Drake BEFORE the beef. Liking Kendrick was akin to virtue signaling that “you know real hiphop” all BEFORE the beef. Drake was fighting an uphill battle where a lot of internet ppl were going to hate him anyway.
@trevaced@HotNewHipHop Prior to the beef, hating on Drake on the internet was the “cool” thing to do. You also have ppl constantly trying to discredit his impact on hiphop. This is all BEFORE the beef even happened and I don’t think Jay was in the same boat.
@theneedledrop Same guy who called a group of people a “pedo parade”. There is no consistency in your logic or morals. You move like a politician. Lastly, if you seriously believe an artist is a predator, I’m sure you won’t platform them and release anymore videos about their music right?
@theneedledrop When that Clipse album dropped, you started getting extra chirpy on Twitter thinking you were Pusha T. I’m glad you got humbled. Always remember you are just a guest in the genre 🙏🏾
@theneedledrop This was probably his most understated 10. Watching it he sounds impressed but never amazed or blown away by anything so I thought it’d be an 8 at most. In the past he sounded more impressed by Danny’s Atrocity and gave that a 9
@theneedledrop How can you be objective as a critic with anything Drake when you’re doing stuff like this? It’s so lame and unprofessional when “critics” project personal feelings onto art.
@ElsienotElisee Interesting read but a bit disingenuous. Push almost 50 still rapping about things he did 30 years ago and everyone claps with glee. In the same breathe we’ll complain about Drake’s subject matter being repetitive. There’s never consistent logic.
@theneedledrop He’ll talk about how Drake is being repetitive and then he’ll later praise Pusha T for being 50 and still rapping about things he did 30 years ago.
