@kenshirotism Some were plot relevant, but not all. Grunt’s mission was awesome, and the ending choice even punishes you if you were inconsistent across the trilogy with the rachni. But I’d be stretching to justify Zaeed, Samara, Jacob, etc

@kenshirotism My only disagreement is Liara can feel a little force fed by the old devs. Just look at the quality difference in the love scenes across the different games. She always seems to get favorited in other ways- she’s the only ME1 character to not die until priority earth, etc.

@kenshirotism I’d rather have Mass Effect’s quality of relationship (platonic and sexual) rather than the cheap character writing of the previous four games they’ve created.

That’s not down playing the trilogy. Certain relationships could’ve just been improved (looking at you cliche Jacob)
