We talk a lot
of unity and community,
Working together, and being on code.
But doing it takes a lot more than talk
Let's re-build one, right here, right now
My offering.....
Personally engage and make eye contact with every black person you encounter.
What's yours...
The policies are reflective of the party and maybe our only option is to take a big loss to send a message, demonstrating to both Republicans and Democrats, that we mean business.
Going from lukewarm to a light boil won't differ much for the bulk of us who are suffering anyway.
Honest thoughts: the DemoRATS are the most anti-black. They would not exist without us and yet do for everyone else BESIDES us. Still, I am not convinced the Republicans would be better. Generally, they are ALWAYS against anything that will help anyone. Vote policies not party!
#TylerPerry statements should be no surprise as it's atypical of those of us who use black culture, narrative, and community to get the bag.
"I got my come up, let's now close the door; you go get yours.
He should NEVER have another hit, EVER.
But sadly, he will.
If meritocracy was real @tylerperry would still be living in his car. The nerve of this bad acting, untrained director antaganizing American Freedman about needing better skills to get diversity hires we fought for.
#CynthiaG is a hateful, malicious, disingenuous, bitter, white affected, self-loathing agent of white supremacy, who should not be allowed in serious black discussions.
She is literally the #She-Hulk version of divester icon @kevinsamuelstv
That will be some task, with most of us consumed with consumerism and capitalism, designed to pacify us into our present state of joyous compliciity over our oppression.
We must rise up and stop this disrespect from anyone who solicit our vote. No lineage-based reparations for descendants of the Black enslaved, without any other group included, NO VOTE.
What happened to selling liquor?
What happened to buying the NFL? 🤣
What happened to “vote or die?”
What happened to we just need to love?
What happened to Afrobeats?
I have so many questions. 😒
It's incredible that we still have Black politicians that "fight for ALL people" and ALL the other politicians belonging to other ethnicities "fight for THEIR people." This is one major reason why we continuously lose on the political front.
Pan Africanism is a remote, out of time, ideology embraced by academic theoreticians who feel more comfortable debating intangible ideals than dealing with real and concrete problems right here at home in front of their faces.
Self-preservation is one of the basic laws of life.
Black Americans do not interfere with people who wish to “connect struggles” or “practice Black internationalism.”
We simply call into question whether those strategies or approaches are useful in addressing OUR specific issues and needs.
#StopBlackAmericanHate
America's most promenite, white annoited, black flimmaker boldly regurgitates the standard arguements whites use to disenfranchise üs from fair opportunity.
He done got his come up, yours be damned.
They knew who they were pickin', they always do.
There are 348 Colleges in the United States that have Film/Video and Photographic Arts as a major. Either a college degree ot Tech Certification means something or it does not. Which is it? @tylerperry Nepotism is very real still...
Roland Martin has had representatives and leadership from Black Lives Matter speak on his show in representation of Black Americans.
Now he wants to claim he always said or he always knew there was a problem with the organization. 😒
These movies aren't made for us. These films are for an audience who wants to experience our qualities without acknowledging our unique history and the political lineage that has formed us.
They want "Black-Free", black people, and they are getting it.
For decades, my people went thru HELL to make it in Hollywood. They the did the unimaginable to get & play certain roles just to make it on a screen. Now, Black immigrants are being picked OVER American Freedmen for roles. I will NOT support this movie

The American dream is built upon our oppression and exclusion of opportunity...
.... those among us who have been able to acquire some degree of success under this unjust system must be committed to promoting the success of others.
It ain't all 'bout u.
