@etefwefwefwef@MissipiDog@Lunazseo@kirkfootjob67 It would be important to know 90% of client sided code lives in LocalScripts rather than Client RC Scripts. It looks like he's new so I probably I shouldn't have even brought up RC client Scripts at all, it seems to be confusing him
@bandgettah@kirkfootjob67 No, this makes no sense. You're trying to share dependencies between the server and client whilst putting it in ServerStorage to lock it away from the client which is the opposite of what the goal is
@MissipiDog@Lunazseo@kirkfootjob67 If you're uneducated on the topic at hand, don't try to make a point with confidence. Access to certain server only locations like ServerStorage/ServerScriptService does not depend on where the script physically is. It depends on if the file is executed on the client or server.
@AwesomeSauw7s@GigajigCoolest@kirkfootjob67 Read it literally, the descendants are among the very first things to get replicated to the client, ahead of anything else. That's why it's used for stuff like loading screens because you want to show the loading screen as soon as you join the game and not an arbitrary location -
@Lunazseo@kirkfootjob67 Anticheat is usually integrated into the gameplay systems themselves. It is not a separate system that you'd just 'place' into ReplicatedStorage like any other one
@MissipiDog@Lunazseo@kirkfootjob67 No. Being able to access server side locations depends on the script's actual subclass type (Script and LocalScript both inherit from BaseScript), not where it's located. LocalScripts and Scripts (Run context: Client) can only read shared/client-only containers while plain Script
