Mpesa is too expensive. Wdym withdrawing Kes 101 is 29 Shillings.
We need Ke Mathematicians to calculate the exact figure at which the Mpesa transaction rate is cheapest, and the most expensive. It’s like these charges are designed to most hurt regular and poor people
Kenyan MPs have officially approved a bill removing the legal requirement for the IEBC to livestream results as they are announced at polling stations.
The move has raised concerns about transparency ahead of the 2027 General Election
1:I’m not joining Linda Mwananchi because I don’t have to be at the center of everything. You’re going to scapegoat me again and try to control what I do online. But I support Sifuna and still active in the making of a reimagined Kenya.
2:This is the most peace I’ve had in the past two years. I don’t go to sleep crying because you’re online bullying me and stripping me naked using AI. I don’t have to worry my name is trending again and people are dragging me through the mud.
3:For a “leaderless” movement, I was the one you looked up to most of the time as your leader, I was the one getting scapegoated all the time and I was the one being stabbed and told to go back to Somalia anytime something happened.
4:I kept going despite everything because I equally received loved and support in ways I couldn’t imagine strangers loving me and supporting me. I kept going because our people were brutally murdered and we had a duty to keep fighting.
5:I’m a comedian. I’ve always been funny cmon now.
6:Faith Odhiambo is running for women rep and that’s good enough for all of us. I’m still not ripe and shameless enough for Kenyan politics but I’ll always remain active. Anyway read my article today in Sunday nation I addressed this.
Today, 14 October 2026, the High Court at Nairobi declined to entertain an application by the Attorney-General seeking to suspend the hearing of a petition filed by Senator Okiya Omtatah and eight others.
The petition seeks accountability from former and current high-ranking public officials over Kenya’s crippling odious debts and the recovery of approximately KSh 9.5 trillion.
The Attorney-General had asked the Court to halt proceedings in the petition pending the outcome of an application by the Auditor-General at the Court of Appeal, which seeks to have the High Court petition dismissed unheard.
Instead, the High Court directed the Attorney-General to pursue the matter at the Court of Appeal.
It also ordered the petitioners to advertise their Amended Petition in the @NationAfrica and @StandardKenya newspapers within 14 days.
The parties were given 30 days from the date the advertisements appear to respond to the Amended Petition.
The Court then set the petition down for hearing on 3 and 4 March 2027.

In 2027 we are cutting the fat out of our budget to bring relief to all Kenyan workers. The housing levy will go with Ruto.
H.E Edwin Sifuna Sifuna completely tore into Ruto's "Mr. Empty"tags: He clears the air on yesterday's interview—challenging Ruto’s legacy ahead of 2027. "Na zake zitaendelea hadi chini."🔥🤓
A NEW DAWN IS COMING! Africa is watching as Kenya sparks a movement that could inspire a continent.
H.E. Sifuna says October is for party organisation. TEP is finalising its rebranding to LINDA MWANANCHI MOVEMENT (LMM). The movement is building, the people are ready, and history is calling!
The biggest political movement north and south of the Limpopo is coming home!
Edwin Sifuna alleges that President William Ruto’s government is conducting surveillance on him and other opposition politicians.
He claims some of the stories about him and the opposition were deliberately shared with the public and the media as decoys.
Sifuna adds that some of his team’s meetings are held without phones to prevent the government from listening in.
Honour. I'm very happy to hear HE say this, because that was also a deeply emotional moment for us who were watching. It is the moment we also knew, no turning back.
