@seerutkchawla Another feature of our culture right now seems to be the attitude that because my side didn’t win on an issue, the process wasn’t fair and the institutions that managed the process are corrupt. This is true for high profile trial verdicts, SCOTUS decisions, elections, etc.

@jstevewhite @HistoryBoomer @James_West_PhD That’s fair. But, the right has to be meaningful from a practical perspective. If we’re comparing countries against a standard of universal natural rights, I’d say countries that disarm their citizens aren’t respecting a meaningful right to self defense.
