Bellshill indie rock / C86
Mainly talking about music, when not talking about music, thinking about music, especially indie & it’s wee brother, grunge✌️ 🖤
Inspired by the rallying call of Justin Currie in @Record_Sport and on the back of @DelAmitri’s beautiful but somber 1998 World Cup song, we’ve accepted the challenge.
Here’s our @ScotlandNT World Cup Anthem 2026.

Think this guy managed to out Scottish us with his performance.
Still, we loved making our World Cup 2026 Anthem. It almost lasted longer than our tournament, but there’s always next time 🖤🏴🖤
@Inselaffe76@radiohead The Attic was also the place to be when there wasn’t a band on. I remember the larger area being all rave and dance music but the Attic had all the indie / grunge / alt rock.
Closer to God up there, with the best tunes 🤘 🎸
The Garage has been an amazing venue for bands since it opened.
Which band was the stand out performance for you in this venue?
I remember seeing @radiohead as they toured Pablo Honey in the very early days. A great gig in a great venue.

@Inselaffe76@radiohead 😂 can’t believe that’s when it was! I knew it was a good while ago as I was at college; my joints didn’t ache and my lungs still functioned normally but I couldn’t have narrowed it down that much!
Ah them were the days
@Inselaffe76@radiohead Tell me if I’m remembering this wrong, but didn’t something happen like someone jumped up on the stage and bumped into Tom Yorke much to his anger?
Unpopular opinion - I don’t like this song. I love a lot of Nirvana’s work but I never could get into this song.
What’s that one song everyone loves that you just don’t get?
