🏗️ La congresista Stephanie Bice, de Oklahoma y amiga de la gobernadora Jenniffer González, acusa a varios alcaldes de Puerto Rico de "robarle" a FEMA con impuestos a la construcción.

💸 ¿Cómo? Le metieron impuestos a la construcción que se hace con fondos federales, así que si el gobierno da $100 para reconstruir, el municipio se queda con una tajada en lo que cobra de impuestos.

🔁 Algunos alcaldes hasta cobraron esos impuestos de forma retroactiva para sacar más chavitos de esa reconstrucción.

🛑 Bice logró que se aprobara en comité una medida para frenar esos pagos, y la Junta ya les está diciendo a los alcaldes que dejen de cobrar ese impuesto.

⚖️ Pero alcaldes como Ramón Luis Rivera de Bayamón responden que los lleven a corte, y desde Washington avisan: pues entonces aguantamos los fondos.

Update on Stop Killing Games: Ross Scott responds to the EU setback.

The European Commission said it does not plan to introduce new laws requiring game publishers to keep games playable after support ends. Instead, it pointed to existing consumer protection laws.
