@Waltroon utterly riveting

The Duchess of Alba passed away earlier today. A fabulously eccentric lady who lived life to the full regardless of scrutiny. RIP Cayetana.

Big Brother is watching you! No... actually! A mysterious 'Drone' dropped out of the sky over Holywood today causing chaos. Massive thing!

Morning off spent sitting in the garden in the warm autumn sunshine on what the forecast says is the last day of our Indian Summer :-(

Busy day tomorrow - a few marathon post event treatments & then out on the lough on my kayak for the first time this year. Excited! :-)

Why do I always get stuck behind the person at the ATM taking out cash using 3 different cards?! :-/ Grrrrrrr!!

[Mark Blackburne @BlackburneMark]

First Pilates 'Reformer' class today - told it'd be great for strengthening my back. Extreme torture more like! Lol Talk about a workout :-/

Recognition is a double-edged sword - it's sad when an elderly relative doesn't recognise you, & fantastic when you don't recognise an ex ;)

Remember these? Haven't seen a House Martin or their little mud nests in years. Are they extinct in Ireland now? :-/

[Mark Blackburne @BlackburneMark]

Quote for the day: 'Behind every great man is a woman rolling her eyes'. It's funny cause it's true lol.

[Mark Blackburne @BlackburneMark]

Well done to little sis and co for completing the Nice Half Marathon. Guessing you're hitting the bars about now ;-)

[Mark Blackburne @BlackburneMark]

From a recent trip to Donegal. Found this wee man on the beach. I think he'd wandered off the 'Shire' lol.

[Mark Blackburne @BlackburneMark]

Just saw a woman walk past in a purple raincoat and matching hat, except it wasn't her hat it was her hair! Who does that?! Bit extreme lol

[Mark Blackburne @BlackburneMark]

By way of pain relief experimenting with Long Island Ice Tea at The Merchant Hotel with two of my oldest friends Keith & Steven. Good times!

[Mark Blackburne @BlackburneMark]

Nothing like a beautiful sunny Good Friday, going to Tesco to stock up on supplies for the holiday weekend... then your back goes out. Grrr!

[Mark Blackburne @BlackburneMark]

@Waltroon Thank you for you're kind welcome. I feel your pain. It's my last stand before giving up social media entirely.

Sitting in cafe. Couple holding hands at next table - he heavily tattoo'd/pierced, she elegantly proper. Love transcends all it seems :-)

Somebody once told me that Twitter was like Facebook for grown ups. I guess we all have to grow up eventually, so here I am! :-)
