Feb. 24, @GovPritzker was at Richard J. Daley College to announce a $40.5 M investment by DMG MORI in advanced manufacturing jobs and training programs tied to the college’s workforce pipeline.

In 2023, buildings at Richard J. Daley College were used to house illegal aliens families.

Now, DMG MORI is investing $40.5 MILLION into advanced manufacturing training at Daley ,building pipelines for CNC, robotics, and union-track jobs.

Daley College’s student population is over 75% Hispanic.

At the same time, Gov. J. B. Pritzker signed HB 460, allowing undocumented residents to access Illinois state financial aid starting January 1, 2026.

The reality: • Illinois has an estimated 450,000–550,000
Illegal Aliens
• Nearly 300,000 Illinois residents are actively seeking work
• Chicago unemployment rate is around 14.2% just in the black population along. In 2024
• Illinois does not require immigration status for many public services
Chicago taxpayers are paying some of the highest property taxes in the nation.
Families are struggling.
Citizens are still looking for work.

Yet taxpayer-funded training pipelines and financial aid are expanding ,without prioritizing Americans first.
This isn’t accidental.
It’s policy.

Chicagoans deserve first access to jobs, training, and opportunity.
Period.
