The Great Escape (1963). Not bad for a 50 year old film! There were so many things that just didn’t add up. Or maybe my mind is too critical to suspend belief. Either way, I enjoyed it more than more recent action films. Probably because they put so much effort into it.

The Worst Person in the World (2021). At times cute, most times edgy.
So relatable, I felt attacked!
Somehow, the more f_cked up Julie was, the more I understood her. We hurt others when we ignore our own brokenness. Damn Julie. I wasn’t ready for deep reflection.

I didn’t know that there was a 3 hour version of Kingdom of Heaven. It was worth the rewatch.
Also, definitely one of my favorite depictions of the relation between kings at war.
