So sad. She was one of the funniest, sweetest, kindest people. My dear friend for so many years. Celebrate her life by watching OG Pokemon, especially Team Rocket, she will always be my partner in comedic crime. RIP my friend.
Well, @jk_rowling is absolutely right!
Almost every child goes through some kind of identity crisis during puberty. It is deeply wrong to make them permanently infertile with “puberty blockers”.
If they still wish to transition as adults, provided they are fully informed of the risks, they can then make decisions as consenting adults.
During this month of May, may we entrust to the Blessed Virgin Mary our personal and family matters, as well as the suffering of those who fall victim to war. Let us #PrayTogether for the Church, all nations, and for peace in Ukraine and the Middle East.
I’ve seen a lot of chatting on X today about married priests.
I know it sounds weird but I don’t care; whatever they decide is good with me.
The thing is…
Catholics would really need to up their parish giving and I don’t know if people get that.
I mean…REALLY raise it.

The message of Bethlehem is indeed “good news of great joy”. What kind of joy? Not the passing happiness of this world, but the joy that consoles hearts, renews hope and bestows peace. It is the joy of the Holy Spirit: the joy born of being God’s beloved sons and daughters.
The #GospelOfTheDay (Lk 1:26-38) tells us about the way in which the Holy Spirit descends upon Mary: he acts like a gentle love that embraces, fertilizes, and guards, without resorting to violence, without harming freedom.
Based on some of the replies I’m getting, I want to make something very clear:
I love being a priest. It is not a burden. I am blessed beyond measure to serve.
I love my brother and sisters in irregular marriages, who are gay or straight, left or right, I don’t care.
If you are seeking to love Jesus and to know his love, you are my family.
I will try to love you like Jesus loves me: right where I am at, while pulling me inch by inch closer.
Seventy-five years ago, on 10 December 1948, the Universal Declaration of Human Rights was signed. The commitment to human rights is never finished! In this regard, I am near all those who fight and personally pay the price defending the rights of those who do not count.
