Update:

There are 30 deposits out of the total 164 needed to switch to PoS.

In order to speed up the process, Canxium Foundation will use 15,360 CAU to launch 48 validators, equivalent to 29% of the minimum number of validators.

This still ensures the necessary decentralization of the network. We will gradually withdraw and only keep a maximum of 16 validators when there are more validators from the community in the future.

After testing with the PraseOdy testnet, we found that 320 CAU and a minimum number of 164 validators are more reasonable and safe metrics.

So we decided to change, you need a minimum of 320 CAU to become a validator, and the network needs to reach 164 deposits to be able to switch to PoS.

We will soon open the deposit portal for mainnet in the near future, possibly right after listing on the TOP12 exchange.

It is expected that there will be about 1m CAU in circulation by the end of this year. If 50% of CAU is staked, there will be about 1562 validators, this is a very reasonable number, not too many to slow down the network or too few to be vulnerable to attack.

Introduce PraseOdy Hybrid Testnet

We have launched a new testnet, named #PraseOdy, and have successfully migrated to the #hybrid blockchain at block 43603

This testnet has included every important features, including offline mining. We will soon do a final test before sending it for an audit company.
