Junior Farmers is a rural organization not just for farmers, and I would encourage everyone to try it out. It is super cheap to become a member, and the opportunities available are endless.
to how to lead an effective meeting with parliamentary procedure, to new dance moves, new friends, and so much more. For me it has improved my public speaking and confidence, as well I now have friends across the world.
followed by the development of our dance skills through square dancing and two stepping.
Why should someone join?
You should join, because you don’t know what your missing out on. You will never know all the skills you’ll gain from knowing how to cook sausages to the right temp,
the next year when they worked together to send in 8+ letters of recommendation and helped me win Outstanding Member of Year for 2015.
What is your favourite thing about JF?
The Exchange Program is my favourite part of this organization,
but it is so worth the self development and connections you will gain.
What is your favourite JF memory?
My Favourite Memory.
How do you choose one? For me would be the year I helped my club win Club of the Year in 2014, then followed by my club’s support
to hosting delegates to being President of my local club to now sitting on Executive for the second year in a row, I wouldn’t change it for the world. Don’t get me wrong, if you want to get something out of Junior Farmers it does take time to be involved,
Why have you stayed a member?
I see the value in this organization, and how members develop their leadership skills, while giving back to their community. Don’t forget to mention the opportunities and all the good times we have. From my exchange to the Republic of Ireland
