Loved having her at our @HCPrecinct4 town hall tonight.
"The Westside is the best side!"
I want to thank Senator John Cornyn for his years representing our state.
We don’t agree on everything, but we both still believe in public service.
To Senator Cornyn’s supporters: you have a place in our campaign.
Congrats to the Houston Astros on making history tonight in Arlington! Tatsuya Imai, Steven Okert, and Alimber Santa combined for a no-hitter, the 18th in franchise history.
We love our Houston Astros!
Arkansas, famously NOT one of the 16 best teams in the country, just chewed Texas up and spit them out.
Best outing of the season for Gabe Gaeckle. He and Eaves did a great job piecing it together after the Dietz scare.
Hogs will await the winner of Auburn/A&M tomorrow!
@evan7257@JRDNLTHMS I very much appreciate Jordan's perspective and ideas. Much needed.
And yet: going to the voters for increased taxes is a losing political strategy, especially during an affordability crisis. Austin learned that the hard way, and we shouldn't repeat the error here in Houston.
Through Sidewalks 4 Precinct 4, we will complete 75 miles of new sidewalks by the end of summer across 4 ISDs, serving 98,000 students. Beginning in June, on S. Mason Road, 4+ miles of new sidewalks will connect families along a stretch that has seen multiple pedestrian incidents. We will not stop until every child in Precinct 4 has a safe path to school.
Why won’t the Astros open the roof at Daikin Park? The team wouldn’t make anyone available to discuss. Some players past and present prefer it open. Other teams with roofs — including one in Texas — try to open whenever possible. Story with @SamBlum3 - https://t.co/6Sxn1cit9f
It is #BlackMaternalHealthWeek, and Harris County is confronting the nation’s worst Black maternal mortality rate head-on because black moms are more than statistics. Through our Maternal & Child Health Program, the Mom & Baby Mobile Health Center, and investments in reproductive health, we are working to build a Harris County where no one has to give their life to create life.
We remember, we honor, we carry the message forward for future generations.
In the face of rising #Holocaust denial and anti-Semitism, Yom HaShoah stands as a moment to recommit ourselves to stand against hate.
In memory of the 6 million.
