@THROWEDTOBIN The average listener won’t notice if you know what you’re doing with the gear you have. Spend the money on your business where you’re most likely to get a return though.
I have to share this video from @BlakeMakesMusic because it made my entire day.
Congratulations to your sweet daughter, and shoutout to Susie for being such a (sparkly) trooper.

Producers who are actually working with an artist directly instead of making beats online are always in a better position to do get a royalty cut. This happens in the main stream industry, but the independent industry has it figured it out yet. They also get songwriting credits.
Why shouldn't the producer get a piece of the streaming royalties? They are responsible for half the song.
I get the fact that alot of the time the artist is paying for studio time, Mix, master, promo , ect.
But does that mean that the producer doesn't deserve anything from streaming?
I say that's crazy.
The producer definitely does deserve a piece. Every situation is different so I am not gonna say the producer always deserves half as far as streaming goes. They deserve something though 💯💯
If I’ve learned anything about creating music… it’s to never sleep on yourself because doubt and fear are the biggest enemies you’ll ever have as a creator.
Don’t hold back. Just go for it.
