Schools being underfunded is quite possibly the most prevalent instance of "common knowledge" in America that is not just wrong but in fact the opposite of reality.
Texas spends more money per K-12 student than any country but in the world but Luxembourg and Norway.
@acnewsitics This is literally a key piece of evidence in the original blog post from 2016 that started the Omar marriage story -- the post pointed out that her father's name was "Nur Said," the same as her husband's second name (indicating his father).

@BlakeSNeff In contrast to Tyler Robinson, jury selection in the OJ Simpson murder trial began within 3.5 months of the murder.
They did a lot of things wrong in that trial, but they didn't waste too much time. The verdict was delivered less than 16 months after the murder.
One person killed by a white schizophrenic is a ‘turning point’ for France but the Bataclan massacre (130 dead) and Charlie Hebdo weren’t?
Got it, okay.
Instead of ruling on a trial date today, Judge Graf has pushed back his decision on a trial date for Tyler Robinson to November 9.
14 months after Charlie's murder just to set a trial date. This is ridiculous.
ROBINSON'S ATTORNEY DEPARTS COURT
Kathryn Nester, defense attorney for Tyler Robinson, leaves the 4th District Court in Provo after a three-hour pre-trial conference. No trial date was set. Judge Tony Graf is expected to announce one at the next hearing on November 9th.

Monthly citizenship approvals have fallen to historic lows under Trump, dropping more than 70% in 2026.
Washington Post worries this decline in naturalization has left out ‘hundreds of thousands’ of immigrants who could have been used as voters in the upcoming Midterms.
BREAKING: The Fifth Circuit, sitting en banc, ruled that immigrants who entered the U.S. illegally can be detained during deportation proceedings without individualized bond hearings, even after living in the country for decades, reversing three orders granting their release.
If you actually think the “lesson” the GOP will learn from a James Talarico victory is that they need to move further to the right, instead of “holy shit, that homo won in TEXAS? We better start appealing to Hispanics more and knock off all this deportation nonsense!” you’re too stupid to work with and I really hope you take up sports betting and lose all of your money.
American society is bifurcating into a pro-family and anti-family party. In the long run, the right will benefit by being the party of people who want to show up for the future.
Why vote Republican this election season? Conservative policies have proven far better for families.
Over the time, the birth rate has been holding steady in red states while crashing in blue states because of better housing, lower taxes, a stronger job market and more. 🧵!
@ZaidJilani I don't know whether Ilhan Omar will be convicted of a crime and I'm very skeptical they'll get far on denaturalizing her, but I think the claim there's nothing shady about her obviously bogus marriage and family history will age poorly.

The left has an explicit ideology of anti-white discrimination or outright hatred, it's been in force for half a century, and we still have clueless people asking how whites "alienated" people.
Given that several of these ethnicities are high income and highly educated I think it’s worth asking more “how did we manage to alienate these people” instead of “how can we even be more a white ethnic party.”
Taking 4 years to go to trial in a murder case is an obscenity that should appall all Americans. But the fact that even the prosecutors are hoping for a 2028 trial at the soonest for Tyler Robinson has been very bothersome to me as well.
I think it’s very clear that the glacially slow judicial process for Tyler Robinson has helped fuel all the conspiracies about Charlie’s death, which have flooded in to fill the void created by months on end where nothing happens in the case. This slow speed is not promoting justice, but is actually reducing public trust in the system.
It should be a firm goal in American criminal justice for a case to go from arrest to a jury verdict in less than a year. If we need to invest in more courts, judges, and public defenders to make that happen, it is a worthy expense.
🗞️🚨🗞️JUST IN: Attorneys for Erika Kirk are asking the judge overseeing Tyler Robinson’s murder case to reject a defense request to put off the trial until late 2029.
In Utah, victims have a right to a speedy resolution.
Robinson was arrested last year after turning himself in, in connection with the assassination of Charlie Kirk. He finally entered a plea of not guilty last month.
Both sides expect the actual trial to take months. Prosecutors have said they’d be ready in fall of next year, but they also suggested waiting until after the holidays to get started, proposing January 2028.
I’ll be in Provo tomorrow for the next hearing. There will be no video, audio or livestream.
@kenthecowboy_ There has been very strong circumstantial evidence on this for 10 years. The media has been brazenly ignoring it, especially Minneapolis media

BREAKING: Katie Hobbs-Aligned Canvassers Caught Willing to Allow Non-Citizens and a Felon to Vote
Muckraker went undercover in Arizona to investigate the groups working to re-elect Gov. Katie Hobbs @katiehobbs and other Democrats.
The full report is quote tweeted below.
Here’s what we found:
Stand Indivisible Arizona (endorsed Gov. Hobbs in its 2026 ballot guide) — Our journalist posed as a Canadian citizen and asked to register to vote. The canvasser not only agreed to help the alleged non-citizen register but also, when asked whether other Canadians could register too, said, "Tell them to do it online."
Worker Power (working to re-elect Gov. Hobbs) — Our journalist told a canvasser they were not a U.S. citizen. Despite this, at our journalist’s request, the canvasser marked “yes” on the citizenship question of the voter registration form.
When We Count (the DNC’s own registration program) — Our journalist posed as a felon on probation and asked to register to vote. The canvassers looked up the law and saw that a felon on probation is ineligible. Even so, they encouraged our journalist to register: “You should just do it.”
AFL-CIO (phone bank mobilizing voters for Gov. Hobbs) — Our undercover journalist asked a phone bank trainer whether to ask the people being called if they're citizens. The trainer’s answer: “We don’t care.”
Our journalists stopped every exercise before any voter registration form was submitted.
We also asked Gov. Katie Hobbs about these findings.
Watch this report and share it with the world.
