I got a spot in the first global drop of LA28 tickets at 10am yesterday. I saw no tickets under $250. Gymnastics was sold out. Cheapest swimming tickets were more than $1000 and most Track and Field were more than $600. Wow!

According to the Princeton Gerrymander Project, 13 states get an F for gerrymandered districts. Only 1 (Nevada) leans D. It is not surprising people feel the process is rigged. We need proportional Ranked Choice Voting to deliver fair representation to all registered voters.

We raised almost 10% in the first 10 days! Next week, August 23rd, I will be racing the Crim 10 miler in Flint, MI. I will be trying to set a lifetime best for this distance. I hope some of you will donate to recognize this accomplishment.

96% of voters found their RCV ballot simple to complete.

Judge Wilkinson (conservative appellate judge) in his opinion on the Abrego Garcia case: “It is difficult in some cases to get to the very heart of the matter. But in this case, it is not hard at all. The government is asserting a right to stash away residents of this country in foreign prisons without the semblance of due process that is the foundation of our constitutional order. Further, it claims in essence that because it has rid itself of custody that there is nothing that can be done.

This should be shocking not only to judges, but to the intuitive sense of liberty that Americans far removed from courthouses still hold dear.”
