@RandalRauser This comment is disgusting, but the context is worth a thought. If it’s even a true story, the way he mentioned it was after discussing how rape is about power, not sex. He was saying he would rape an intruder to show his dominance; almost certainly imagining a male intruder.
@RandalRauser The part that especially gets me is that he didn’t build it. Or even make it longer. Just an astonishingly embarrassing thing to brag about.
@AllisonRFloyd That is an inane conclusion to draw from this excerpt. “Unabashedly hates women” because he would rape an (almost certainly male) home invader.
@TulsiGabbardRVQ Upheld international agreements.
Listened to Pardon Office recommendations and awarded fewer political pardons.
Kept Diplomatic appointments filled and nominated qualified people.
Reduced off-shoring of jobs and supported manufacturing sector.
@Br0mslee Oh I didn’t realize you had a whole bunch of experience with provinces exiting the country to draw on! Alberta would be deliberately renouncing its residents’ citizenship in Canada. It makes no sense that they would retain citizenship rights like a passport indefinitely
@TAinsworth8@CoryBMorgan It wouldn’t be out of hurt feelings… we wouldn’t be Canadians. It would make perfect sense to the world that Canada would stop recognizing non-citizens as its citizens.
@robertmdeshaies@CoryBMorgan We watch this shit-show of a provincial government and don’t exactly have confidence that they could execute a “brand-new Alberta passport” that would actually provide entry around the world the way a Canadian one does.
@KickAsszz88@CoryBMorgan The sheer dumbassitude it takes to think you get to keep all your Canadian rights and privileges while simultaneously giving up all your obligations & responsibilities to the confederation. This is kindergarten-level understanding and playing victim while really being the abuser.
@vicksagewood@Tablesalt13 Every year of the last 20 years has been one of the hottest years on record. Anyone who tells you “climate change” isn’t still largely about global warming is lying to you.
@HistoryBoomer As soon as you develop the businesses to the point they make money without your continued labor input. That’s when you’re exploiting other people’s labor and profiting off it.
@PikeTheCommies @braxton_mccoy If we’re at Communist vs Patriot, and its the Patriot side who elects the pedophile-defending rapist who starts unnecessary offensive wars, crashes the economy, steals from taxpayers and his supporters, alienates all our allies… I’m just gonna have to pick communist.
@CanadianElJefe@Reil76 Nothin causes inflation and economic hardship like uncertainty. Anything even approaching separatism success will result in an immediate rush by investors to flee and divest from Alberta while they wait to see how things settle out. Alberta and Canada would both suffer.
@adrianbriggs That’s not the actual assumption of multiculturalism. It only assumes that people of every culture have something to offer, and allowing our culture to be exposed to other cultures will refine our own: keep what’s good about each, and hopefully winnow out what’s less good.
