Keeper Cottage

Set within a wooded hillside landscape on the edge of Cheltenham, Keeper Cottage combines traditional Cotswold stone architecture with a refined contemporary extension designed by @Blake_Architect. Slim aluminium framing, structural glazing, and natural materials create a calm architectural language that feels deeply connected to the surrounding woodland.

Large sliding glass panels with ultra-slim 20mm sightlines were used to maximise transparency and natural light, creating an almost uninterrupted glazed edge facing the terrace and landscape beyond. Frameless roof glazing and carefully detailed structural glass elements further strengthen the connection between the interior spaces and the mature woodland setting.

Finished in a bespoke RAL7033M colour, the aluminium systems were carefully selected to sit naturally alongside the stone, timber, and muted tones of the landscape, resulting in a restrained and highly resolved living environment.
