@QHoudayer @InsaneLetterbox I read that Joe Dante (the director) refused to remove the scene, because he believed it encapsulated the film as a whole, representing both the horrific and comedic elements of the movie. That’s kind of why I love it, but oh boy does it come out of left field 😂

They're still pushing this video as if it makes them look any better. Cops clearly punched the Indigenous man at least seven times, and repeatedly kicked him after he had discarded his airsoft gun. This is an unequivocal instance of police brutality.
