ESPN sources: The Eagles are trading Pro-Bowl WR A.J. Brown to the Patriots for a 2028 first-round pick and a 2027 fifth-round pick that is the better of New England’s two fifths. The deal that has been speculated on for weeks now finally is happening. Brown and Patriots HC Mike Vrabel are reuniting.

Bombshell: The Browns are finalizing a trade that will send two-time Defensive Player of the Year Myles Garrett to the Los Angeles Rams, per @rapsheet, @TomPelissero and me.
In exchange for Garrett, the Rams are expected to send Pro-Bowl edge Jared Verse, a 2027 first-round pick and other draft-pick compensation still being negotiated to the Browns.

I’m told Mavericks executive Matt Riccardi is also departing the organization. Riccardi, who served as Dallas’ co-general manager this season in the wake of Nico Harrison’s exit, was the runner-up to Masai Ujiri in Patrick Dumont’s process to find a new president of basketball operations.
Kidd had four years and well over $40 million left on his Mavericks contract, sources said. Ujiri and Mavericks owner Patrick Dumont reached the decision this week to move on.
A glaringly stupid post by Elon Musk.
Barack Obama is a real person. Muhammad Ali was a real person. Martin Luther King was a real person.
Helen of Troy is a fictional character in Greek mythology.
Damn, Elon. It's a mystery why some people think you're smart.
Jalen Duren regular-season PPG: 19.5
Jalen Duren playoff PPG: 10.1
9.4 PPG falloff
The only All-Star in NBA history to have a larger falloff (min 10 GP) is Wilt Chamberlain in 1962, who went from 50.4 PPG to 35.0 in the playoffs.
Wilt was 2nd in playoff scoring that year.
Duren is 79th this season.
