#Writers need to look at thier books as pure creation. Pure creation that if you weren't alive that story, characters, all around situations would never exist. These things need you, in order to be created. Its an amazing gift. That only you can bring to life.

Yes, according to NAEP data the figure is accurate. In recent assessments (including 2019 detailed results and consistent with 2024 trends), about 16% of Black 12th graders scored at or above the Proficient level in reading. Overall 12th-grade proficiency was 35% in 2024. Proficient indicates solid performance on challenging material.

@Sara_Writes1 What I like to do is spill it all out from inside. Then, throw the manuscript in a corner for a while and forget about it. Then, read it again from the outside, and you'll see exactly what needs to be edited and changed.
