Occ doc at Beaumont Hospital, mother of 2 NCHDs on ‘frontline’, professional and research interest in wellbeing, especially in docs ( for too long neglected)
Wishing our colleague/ pal/ advisor Dr Ed Smyth a long and happy retirement after 30+ years of superb service to Beaumont Hospital as Consultant Microbiologist! Go n’eirí on bóthar leat!
Recovery from the pandemic will be as challenging as the pandemic itself...Staff wellbeing and patient care are intrinsically interdependent. To ignore the issue is to invite further catastrophe into an already fragile system @chrischirp@DocEd https://t.co/tz8B9OqVVo
Some great dancers among the ranks of An Garda Síochána! We should all resurrect our Irish dancing skills.... nothing like dancing to raise the spirits! Great countryside too! On the beat: Gardaí show off dance moves after Swiss challenge

Thrilled to have got my 2nd dose @ Beaumont Vaccination Centre this morning! Thanks to all the hardworking team! Feel v privileged and happy to know other vaccines now approved .... and January is nearly over!
https://t.co/HDJhDFE0lp Check this out! Clever, harmonious and all too true. Leonard would be chuffed I think! Also, hard not to love the girls’ comfortable onesies!
Great to see today that 61% of our staff have now received first dose of their Pfizer vaccine. Generally well tolerated with no major safety issues thus far. Keep up the good work!
Delighted to report no ill effects whatever from my jab yesterday .... just a mild ache in upper arm yesterday evening and today. Let’s all continue to stay separate and safe as vaccination capacity builds in the weeks ahead!
