To me it's way more important that a game is mechanically distinct and fun to dive into than it being easy to find random ppl to play against. As long as you have at least 1 good person to play against, any fighting game can be enjoyed
As someone who doesn't enjoy playing fighting games online all that much I can't help but scoff a little bit at people who get mad at devs releasing games without good netcode or exclusively for arcades.
Like sure, it would be nice for them to be playable online, but it's understandable when smaller devs aren't able to deliver on that
Considering the state of arcades post-pandemic I also think it's fine for them to have SOME exclusives, even if they're too niche to really matter
