Luke Stocker is a Berea native who played for Madison Central and the University of Tennessee.

Selected in the 2011 draft by Tampa Bay, he developed a reputation as an outstanding interior blocker.

Maurice Douglas of Trotwood, Ohio came to the University of Kentucky after two years in junior college.

Drafted by the Chicago Bears in 1986, he was with the Bears for nine years, finishing his eleven year career with the New York Giants.

Jack Doyle came to Western Kentucky University from Indianapolis Cathedral High School. He was selected for the Pro Bowl in 2017, the first Western player to ever play in that game.

The Blanton Collier Sportsmanship Group joins with the Kentucky Pro Football HOF to present the Blanton Collier Award for integrity On and Off the Field. The 2024 recipient is Art Shell, the first modern day African American to serve as head coach in the NFL.
