Mixed Martial Arts Instructor at Blast MMA

Around this time 13 years ago, I defeated a very tough opponent to win an amateur welterweight MMA title. This victory effectively launched my (relatively short) pro career and set me on a path to train alongside some really cool fighters like @TeamRocBiggie , @Showtimepettis, @sergiopettis, @Gladiatorglenn, @RothwellFighter, @Benaskren, @DustinOrtizMMA, @Cowboycerrone, @CarlosCondit

It's a pretty crazy feeling walking into a gym and throwing down with people you've only seen on TV before. Memories I will not forget.

One of my favorite memories in the lead up to this fight was going to see my old friend and fellow @USMC brother @LOCKloaded down at Quantico. I brought a whole group to train and George (as always) was so generous with his knowledge and expertise.

@BBCSport @ufc We're afraid it lacks the discipline and technique of a true mixed martial artist. He should prob stick to football.
