Regardless of the politics, an ordinary citizen walking up to the Prime Minister and telling him to 'fcuk off' with his socialite policies because they don't cater to his needs should be a goal for every democracy. Here, we can't even say that to a gram pradhan without being beaten by his minions. Until last decade so many murders used to happen in our and nearby villages during Panchayat elections that they had to ban the elections in our village after 2011-2012 I guess.
After my previous post on Instagram on how a liver looked like after it was insulted with alcohol, it was kind of strange to see many people justifying their alcohol consumption with the statement that they only have some beers and never the "hard stuff." I'm not sure why people think beer or wine is a safer form of alcohol. They are all ethanol containing drinks. Ethanol is what harms the body including the liver and it is present in your beer and wine too.
Here is the liver of a middle aged man with alcohol-related cirrhosis (left) who consumed only beers and never the hard stuff. He used to consume around 5 to 8 beers, approx 350ml each almost every week for some years. An additional risk was that he was overweight.
On the right side is a healthy liver, from a donor, a part of which was taken to give the patient with cirrhosis a new lease of life.
The cut portion of the liver will grow to an adult size of around 1.4kg within 4 to 6 weeks. That is how powerful this organ is, when it's healthy.
Try to keep it that way, yes?
Incidents like Nirbhaya and the RG Kar Hospital case are also opportunities for influencers and creators to make posts, poems, cartoons, graphics, and quotes to shame men and the country.
While I don't mind people's freedom to express anger in whatever way they want, it won't really help in reducing rape cases. Your thoughts will resonate with those who already respect women and feel anger when such incidents happen. Such men don't commit crimes against women.
On the other hand, those who do feel no shame. They don't care about your posts, messages, poems, or creatives, or being "ashamed as a man/society/Indian." They'll rape at the next given opportunity. Such people are not fit to live among us.
If you genuinely want such crimes to stop, advocate for swift justice, call for castration as a form of punishment, demand capital punishment, seek the abolition of mercy petitions in rape cases, and protest when courts show leniency toward rapists with nonsense philosophies like "every sinner has a future." Oppose those who advocate for human rights for criminals.
The seam position has been terrific for both Indian seamers so far. @Jaspritbumrah93 bowled a peach of a delivery to get rid of Hendricks. The batters were waiting for the ball to swing into them. However, @arshdeepsinghh intentionally made the ball move away from the right-hander, setting up Markram beautifully.

I must admit I was a bit taken aback first to see Virat Kohli so emotional and then to announce that he has played his last T20I. This generation should consider itself lucky to have seen him in his prime. And when it counted, he showed why he is the big match player India is blessed to have.
