Quant plans a ready-made tokenized deposit service for US banks that lack one

Tokenized deposits are regular bank money on a blockchain. Today most stay locked inside the bank that issued them, per @quantnetwork.

@TCHtweets, owned by 25 of the largest US banks, picked the firm behind $QNT last Thursday to link them into one network for clearing and settlement.

Quant will also run a shared platform for any US institution that processes through The Clearing House but has no tokenized deposits yet. Those banks can rent the capability instead of building it.

The network is due in the first half of 2027. Quant also built the platform behind a UK bank pilot, which ran its first three live customer payments last week.

LayerZero carries over 90% of third-party cross-chain volume

Over the past 30 days, @LayerZero_Core moved about $8.8B of the $9.5B sent through the six cross-chain protocols that Allium (@AlliumLabs) compares, a 93% share. Chainlink ranked second with roughly 5%, ahead of Socket, Wormhole, Hyperlane and Axelar.

LayerZero's lead shrinks when counting messages instead of dollars, at just over half of the weekly total. The comparison also excludes issuer-run rails like Circle's CCTP, which moves its $USDC.
