I think people overstate how much of a push his shot is I think he keeps the ball really close to his body which is good and it looks like he’s pushing cause his elbow is out but I think the follow through is less of a push and more of a fling/flick

LaMelo's shooting is genuinely fascinating. Basically pushes the ball at the hoop from his chest like a pass. So quick release/unlimited range, but more interestingly, doesn't have to be anywhere close to square to the hoop. I mean some of these are like Larry Bird trick shots

@SungJinJojo @twoyrsaway @Flawlesslikeeli I think lamelo has way better hands and uses them well off ball to get steals and deflections I think both can fall asleep/ball watch at times but I think lamelo is more attentive than ant the main reason lamelo has been ok on d this year is cause of these improvements
