Coca-Cola released a new Sprite soda, it’s called ‘Sprite + Tea’

If you look at the label, you notice the amount of sugar

It has 61 grams of added sugar… That means this one 20oz Sprite Tea is equivalent to 6 Krispy Kreme donuts

There is no actual tea, it’s all chemicals

It also has a bunch of other bad ingredients:

- High Fructose Corn Syrup
- Caramel Color used for the brown/tea-like appearance
- Sodium Benzoate is a preservative that can form benzene, a known carcinogen
- Potassium Sorbate, another preservative
- “Natural Flavors” This is where the “tea” flavor comes from. Notably, no actual tea is listed in the ingredients

This isn’t a drink it’s a science experiment

Steak 'n Shake started rolling out a new soda machine QR system

When you make an order, you are given a QR code to scan at the machine. You’ll only be allowed to fill for the exact amount of ounces you purchased

People were reportedly buying small drinks but filling large cups and taking extra refills without paying

I ran the numbers, for a medium fountain soda the product cost alone, meaning syrup + carbonated water/CO2, to the restaurant is roughly $0.20

This means if you do the math, fast food places are often marking it up 800–1,100%+

This makes fountain soda one of the most profitable items

They’re making it up 1,100% but can’t let you have a refill…..

These are the brand new disguised Automated License Plate Reader cameras in Arizona

The large yellow plastic barrels are camouflaged housings designed to look like construction equipment

They are being deployed in remote desert areas along highways

California Rep Kevin Kiley says they have learned the $100 million dollar pacific palisades Fire Aid concert money was laundered to nonprofits

“What we have learned is absolutely beyond belief — Tens of thousands of people donated raising a hundred million dollars for what they was were told was direct relief for the victims. But now we've learned that this money didn't go to the victims at all. Instead, it went to nonprofits”

Here are some examples

- CA Native Vote Project: $100,000 for voter participation for Native Americans
- Community Organized Relief Effort (CORE): $250,000 for programs prioritizing undocumented immigrants
- Altadena Talks Foundation: $100,000 went to supported podcasts, including Toni Raines podcast
- NAACP Pasadena: $100,000 political advocacy
- Los Angeles Black Worker Center $550,000 to political advocacy organizations
- Center for Applied Ecological Remediation: $500,000 for fungus/microbe/plant soil remediation projects

Over $500,000 went to bonuses for nonprofit leaders and consultants

Yes, this really happened. He blocked bills for an audit MULTIPLE TIMES

Bipartisan bill AB 2903 (unanimous passed 72-0 in the Assembly, 40-0 in the Senate) would’ve forced annual public reports on where the money went

Newsom vetoed it.

Gavin Newsom also vetoed similar bills AB 2570 and AB 2093

“The same broader problem with people paying taxes in California — The homeless, they lose $20 billion, but they want more money for it. That's why people get tired of paying taxes and going, what are you doing? Gavin Newsom just vetoed a bill asking for an audit of where the money for homeless goes. He said, not a chance.
