@pmorganbentley She spent the most awful week in the phone for hours every night trying to get a top up card and they kept saying she wasn’t on the system. She is a single parent frontline nhs worker and struggles financially I had to buy her electric heaters but it was FREEZING

@pmorganbentley daughter was broken into prepayment meter installed while at work, only £10 credit on it. When she got home the credit on the meter had been used as her timer had come on. It was during the extreme cold weather with a 7yo boy with no heat for a week no topup card and no help

The house is freezing
Her son my 7yo grandson has developed a cough

What can be done no one will help her and they are saying it’s another week to get card in post but now we have postal strikes too??

They then cut her off as they closed for weekend so no heat all last weeks. They are freezing

What is the legal position regarding when energy companies leave a single parent with a small child with NO gas supply therefore no heating or hot water in the current extremes of temperatures?
