The Feeding of the 5,000
(Matthew 14:13-21)After hearing that John the Baptist had been killed, Jesus withdrew by boat to a remote place to be alone. But the crowds followed him on foot from the surrounding towns. Seeing the large multitude, Jesus had compassion on them and healed their sick.
As evening approached, the disciples urged Jesus to send the people away to buy food in the villages. Jesus replied, “They do not need to go away. You give them something to eat.” The disciples could only find five loaves of bread and two fish. Jesus took the food, looked up to heaven, gave thanks, broke the loaves, and gave them to the disciples to distribute.
Miraculously, everyone ate and was satisfied—about 5,000 men, plus women and children. Afterward, the disciples collected twelve baskets full of leftover pieces. This miracle demonstrated Jesus’ compassion, power to provide abundantly, and authority over creation. #LoavesAndFishes

Psalm 28:7
"The LORD is my strength and my shield; my heart trusts in him, and he helps me. My heart leaps for joy, and with my song I praise him."
In this verse, King David declares God as his source of strength (empowering him in weakness) and shield (protecting him from enemies and harm). It expresses deep trust that leads to divine help, resulting in overflowing joy and spontaneous praise. Written in a time of distress, it shifts from pleading to triumphant thanksgiving, reminding believers to rely on God for power, protection, and peace amid trials.

Hebrews 11:1 (KJV):
"Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen."
This powerful verse is often called the definition of faith. It teaches that true biblical faith is not blind wishful thinking—it is the confident assurance (substance) in things we hope for from God, and the inner proof (evidence) of realities we cannot yet see with our physical eyes. It’s the foundation for the entire “Hall of Faith” chapter that follows, highlighting how believers throughout history trusted God despite circumstances.
In short: Faith makes the invisible real and the future certain.Great Hashtags:

Proverbs 3:5-6 (NIV):"Trust in the Lord with all your heart
and lean not on your own understanding;
in all your ways submit to him,
and he will make your paths straight."
Brief Description:This beloved passage is a powerful call to radical trust in God. It encourages believers to rely fully on the Lord rather than depending on their own limited knowledge or logic. By acknowledging God in every area of life, He promises to guide and straighten our paths — removing obstacles, providing direction, and leading us toward His perfect will. It's a foundational verse on faith, surrender, and divine guidance.

The Parable of the Good Samaritan (Luke 10:25-37)
A man traveling from Jerusalem to Jericho is robbed, beaten, and left half-dead on the roadside. A Jewish priest walks by and ignores him. A Levite (temple assistant) does the same. Then a Samaritan—a member of a despised ethnic group—stops, shows compassion, bandages the man’s wounds with oil and wine, puts him on his own donkey, takes him to an inn, cares for him overnight, and pays the innkeeper to continue looking after him.
Jesus asks: “Which of these three was a neighbor to the injured man?”
The answer: the one who showed mercy. The parable teaches that true neighborly love crosses cultural, religious, and social barriers and is demonstrated by action and compassion, not just religious status or words.
