Healing starts in honesty.
Not dramatic honesty.
Just real.
“Masakit pa pala.”
“Pagod pa pala ako.”
“Hindi pa pala ako okay.”
And strangely,
that truth feels lighter
than pretending ever did.
I’ve seen people carry pain for years
just because they became good at hiding it.
Tahimik lang.
Pero pagod na pagod na sa loob.
Because the body knows
when something is unresolved.
Even when your words say otherwise.
Healing starts when you stop pretending you’re okay.
Pretending is exhausting.
Smiling when you’re drained.
Saying “okay lang” when something feels heavy.
Acting strong because you think you have to.
