If this could be counted as a crime that being set on fire should be the consequences, how much more should be the consequences of those that make use of biro to steal your inheritance, and that of your descendants while substituting it with debt?
We cannot normalize this horror. We cannot swipe past videos of caged babies as if it's regular news. We call on the @NigeriaGov@officialABAT , the National Security Adviser, and the Military High Command to deploy every asset available to locate and rescue these children immediately.
Bring our babies home. This nightmare must end. 💔
A government’s primary, non-negotiable constitutional duty is the security of lives and property. If the state cannot protect actual toddlers from being dragged into forests and used as starved bargaining chips, then what exactly are we securing?
There are no words left to describe the absolute depravity on display. Seeing videos of malnourished, tortured toddlers languishing in the captivity of terrorists is a stain on our collective humanity.
These are babies. Infantile citizens. Our hearts are completely broken 💔
@HeadfortF Ogudu Police officers have been rogue and useless from day 1, from Pre-End SARS till now..All their DPOs are aware of the nonsense. That particular police station needs cleansing. Till you jam them u no go understand wetin Dey sup, mainland niggas have stories to tell…
This issue is STILL not attended to as at 2 hours ago. We are calling out @LagosPoliceNG , @TunjiDisu1 , @PoliceNG , and @PoliceNG_CRU. Order Ogudu Police Station to step in immediately! If there is an offense, say it and let due process be followed, his boss @RidwanuLlah is there to represent him. If there is no offence, release him!
What happens to the thousands of innocent, poor Nigerians who have absolutely nobody to stand for them when the system decides to lock the gates and play dead? They rot inside.
This is a Carbon Copy of what happened to one of our own staff members at Headfort. He was swept up in a random night raid and dumped at Alapere Station just for walking home. We faced the exact same brick wall until we forced an intervention.
How can a whole Area Commander and senior station officers play dead all night while a citizen is held hostage? If the local police can boldly ignore their own internal complaints unit in Abuja, who is actually running the force?
The most disturbing part? The absolute lawlessness of the chain of command. Abuja CRU tried to intervene, and the Lagos Area H Commander can’t be reached. Abuja called the Station Officer (SO), and he literally told them there was no senior officer to speak with.
Imagine watching football at a viewing center, and the next thing you know, you are caged inside a cell at Ogudu Police Station like a criminal. No offense committed, no evidence, just random, predatory profiling to fill up cells.
Any confession gotten through torture is completely useless and illegal in a court of law.
We are calling on the @PoliceNG@PoliceNG_CRU@Enugu_PoliceNg@TunjiDisu1 to immediately arrest these overzealous actors. The police must take over this case, investigate the actual theft, and prosecute the torturers under the Anti-Torture Act. Let's make an example out of this!
Let’s make the law clear: Under the Anti-Torture Act of 2017, torture is a serious federal crime in Nigeria.
The law says anyone who tortures a suspect faces up to 25 years in prison. If the victim dies, it is treated as straight-up murder. No one, not a police officer, and definitely not a local neighborhood security actor, is above this law.
"I would rather die than admit to a crime I know nothing about."
A young man in Enugu was beaten to temporary blindness by local vigilantes over an alleged ₦2 million theft. He refused to break. Later, hidden CCTV footage proved his total innocence.
But let’s talk about the ones who DID break. 👇🏾
Not every scar is visible.
Long after the bruises heal, survivors of torture often continue to live with fear, anxiety, trauma, nightmares, and silence.
Torture does not end when the beating stops.
Today, we stand with survivors everywhere and renew our call for accountability, rehabilitation, and an end to torture in all its forms.

A system that relies on torture to investigate crime is not delivering justice, it is undermining it.
Torture is illegal.
Torture is inhumane.
Torture is a violation of human rights.
There are no exceptions. No excuses. No justification.
The fight against crime must never come at the expense of human dignity.
