After the #LaptopGiveaway closes on August 31st, we’ll begin reviewing engagement across the campaign.

We’ll go through different posts and look at who has been consistently active, engaging, reposting, commenting, and following the rules.

We’ll also use @Grok by xAI to help us review the engagement and identify strong candidates for the next stage.

The selected people will be contacted and scheduled for interviews.

Laptop Update

Today, I received an update that 3 additional people have been selected, in addition to the 8 who have already received laptops.

That brings the total to 11 laptops technically booked, with 4 remaining.

The interview process will close once the panel has identified everyone selected.

On 1 September 2026, we will announce 2 of the 3 outstanding winners.

To everyone who was previously shortlisted for an interview, we’ve made good progress. We’ve interviewed almost 70% of the shortlisted applicants.

Due to everyone’s busy schedules, we’ll set another date this week to interview the remaining shortlisted applicants.

Please be patient with us. If you haven’t received your interview date yet, we’ll reach out when it’s your turn.

The laptop submission is also coming to an end very soon.

Only 4 laptops remain to be given out.

We’ll announce the final submission deadline soon.

After the current interviews are completed, we’ll review the people who have been consistently engaging with the campaign.

We’re paying attention to those who regularly like, repost, comment, share, and follow the instructions.

The next group will be shortlisted from the most engaged participants, and interviews will be scheduled before the final selections are made.
