I handled Keivo’s wardrobe and all. I personally bought this Henley for Keivo and sent it to him when they were on lockdown. Keivo is not a thief and has never been!

PRESS STATEMENT
A Clarification Regarding Sultex and Recent Statements
We have taken note of the concerns and conversations surrounding Sultex following his recent altercations and the words used during confrontations.
First and foremost, we understand why certain statements made in the heat of an argument may have caused concern. Words such as “I will kill you, and similar expressions can sound alarming when taken at face value, particularly when viewed outside the context in which they were made.
However, it is important to provide some context.
Sultex is a young man from Isale Eko, Lagos Island, whose manner of speech has been heavily shaped by the environment and street culture he grew up around. Expressions such as these have, for him and many others from similar backgrounds, become colloquial phrases commonly thrown around during heated exchanges. They are often used to express anger, frustration, bravado or a warning to back off, rather than a literal declaration of an intention to cause harm.
This context does not mean that every word used in an argument is appropriate, nor are we attempting to dismiss the concerns that have been raised.
What we ask for, however, is that his words be considered within the full context of his personality, background and actions, rather than interpreted solely through the literal meaning of street expressions.
Sultex has never intended to communicate a genuine desire or plan to harm the person involved. His reaction came in the midst of a highly emotional confrontation, where tempers were raised and words were exchanged on both sides.
We believe accountability and context can exist simultaneously.
We therefore appeal to the public to allow room for understanding, growth and context.
Sultex is learning, just as every young person navigating a highly public environment does. We remain committed to ensuring that he understands the responsibility that comes with his platform and conducts himself accordingly going forward.
Thank you to everyone who has expressed their concerns, and to those who have taken the time to understand the full context.
