Yes, thats important- building air tight is a question of know how & proper planning.
The one most important rule is: think of the building airtightness layer as one piece - all around the heated (or cooled) area.
We can do this - its not that difficult &its not expensive.
HVAC guy estimated 3 tons air conditioning for one floor of the house we’re renovating. Fortunately it’s a Passive House retrofit so we’ll need less than a third of that.
