@minimed is a joke anymore. I have been type 1 diabetic for 38 years and on a medtronics insulin pump for 17 years. I've ordered the Instict CGM but they say I need to update my #780g insulin pump before they can ship - I've been trying for 3 days to update it and everytime the system won't allow me. I've currently been on hold for tech support for 3 hours and 46 minutes with no answer. Maybe it's time to leave #medtronic and go with a different insulin pump company - #type1 #diabetic #insulinpump #insulin
@DirtyMoMedia There is no official rule that the name of the race has to be the milage/distance of it - there have been races in the past where special names for sponsorship marketing purposes were used that included a number that had nothing to do with distance
@Megafrayder2 I remember you could get them by showing a competitors brand. You could have an almost empty pack and they would pass you full ones. Heck, you could just walk up to the girls and they would give you packs... I remember a couple guys even getting free cartons
@MambaSmith34@ConnorZilisch@jesselovejr1@CarsonHocevar If anything, they are the future of the sport for the next 10 years, and I'm 100% ok with it. Than we will have names we already know, like a Busch, Harvick, Larson, Bowyer and a couple more in the sport - but until then, I'm 100% ok with this
Well he is currently at a 23.5 finish - but I have to disagree on the sponsor side. The deals we make want publicity. I mean, hell, Ross Chastain has an average 19.1 finish so far this season. If Anheuser-Busch InBev wanted the car to be seen, more than the driver, they would be jumping over to another team. Sponsorships need a name and that doesn't always mean a winner - I do this for a living, and I know publicity and people talking about a driver, brings in money. Ya, we wish all sponsorships could go to winning drivers, but in the end, there is only one of those and the rest goes to the person who is being talked about. It's almost like Politics, just on a smaller scale... haha
He is being talked about - when a driver is in the top 5 of the algorithms, that brings attention to the sport. If you look at the stats, Bubba Wallace is one of the most talked about drivers in the sport - although most of that talk is negative - and it brings attention to NASCAR. Just being a conversation topic opens the door - you do realize that Bubba, even with all the hate, brought a 87% increase into interest, and actually brought in a 9% increase in ticket sales. That alone made it worth every comment. @NoahGragson is the topic right now, and guess what - that has people talking - I don't care what they are saying, as long as they are saying it about him
@jeff_gluck They should take over broadcasts for the whole series. People complain that they don't want to pay for prime, but yet they will pay a bunch more for cable
Well, in all honesty, his "making headlines" worked as I have seen a bunch of people talking about it. Remember, it doesn't matter if they like you or not, all that matters is if you are talking about them. The more a person's incidents are mentioned, the more the algorithm promotes them
@SpotterBrett@TMZ I swear I'm with you on this - like I need to get drunk and come up with a conspiracy theory on how they flood NASCAR people's social media.. haha
It was a great race - all three brought excitement. My concern was the fan experiences - especially Saturday when they started running out of supplies before the green flag dropped. Our Podcast drops this week - we wanted to use @NASCARSanDiego as our opening, and now we have to stay away from some of the epic fails to show the great racing
@Garrett_Archer@JosephChaplik I mean, in all honesty, that's really not a bad idea. Might be sort of a joke, but it would also get people to remember his name
