Don’t ever be embarrassed about your life. We all go through things that shake us, humble us, or force us to start over. Moving back home, losing your job, getting your heart broken, going through a divorce, hitting a low mentally… it’s all a part of being human.
you must believe you are special and then go so hard, for so long, with such violent refusal to accept any other ending, that reality itself starts running out of ways to tell you no. you must wage a war daily against the ordinary outcome, until the belief you invented out of nothing in a room by yourself has been hammered into the world so many times that it stops being a claim and becomes reality.
If you want a rare life, you have to be delusional. Doubt can enter your mind, and it can sound reasonable, but if you entertain it too much it will slowly drag you down into stagnation. I'd rather reap the lesson from massive failure than do nothing because it's not "realistic."
How unfortunate is the son of Adam.
If he feared the Fire of Jahannam the way he fears poverty, he would be saved from both.
If he desired Paradise the way he desires the dunya, he would succeed in both.
I realized that when Allāh loves you, He won’t necessarily bless you a lot with obvious or material things like a big mansions or cars, or even attention from the world. Instead, He blesses and favours you with: Instead, He blesses and favours you in ways that make you a better human being. He will give you a better sense of self-worth, He will give you knowledge, He will give you intellect, He will place opportunities in your soft heart to help others. He will mould you into someone who spreads kindness and love. He will put only meaningful people in your life so that it’s only you and Him. He will give you a sound heart and a piece of mind. Blessings are not always obvious. But looking deep and realizing that you’re blessed is real blessing. 🤍
