Today marks 14 years since Baton Rouge rapper Lil Phat was shot and killed in the parking lot of a Georgia hospital at just 19 years old. 💔
Investigators later alleged the murder was part of a murder-for-hire plot connected to a robbery, drug-related disputes, and GPS tracking data from a vehicle Lil Phat was driving. Multiple people were eventually convicted in connection with the case.
Despite his life being cut short, Lil Phat’s music and legacy continue to be remembered by fans across the South. 🕊️
